Job Description Position Summary ABM Electrical & Lighting is seeking a Project Coordinator. Under the supervision of Operations Resource Manager, performs and coordinates weekly work schedule, dispatches labor force and a variety of daily operations & administrative duties. Also performs routine accounting tasks and clerical duties with the Company’s Accounting Department, which includes accounts payable and accounts receivables.
Performs and coordinates weekly with project managers, vendors, engineers, and contractors to gather detailed information as needed on projects to resolve or support facilitate resolution issues that may arise during the estimation process.
Compiles Proposal Generation data through reviewing facility audits in conjunction with project specifications to ensure accurate accounting of materials, labor, and associated project costs.
Perform accounts receivable functions, invoice tracking, processing, contacting customers and vendors as needed.
Prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously and following through on issues in a timely manner.
Coordinate with Project Manager to support site assessments to track and maintain project timelines.
Responds in a professional, polite, and helpful manner when dealing with customers, vendors and team members.
Supports ABM processes and procedures in opening new jobs, utilizing specified accounting systems and software.
Perform other duties as assigned which may be modified at any time.
Minimum Requirements
Must have a strong Communication Mindset with excellent verbal and written skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, team members and various stakeholders.
Attention to detail with numerical accuracy and strong organizational skills are required to ensure project scope, costs and invoicing is captured accurately
Ability to Problem Solve in addressing challenges that arise during the project life cycle.
Must have strong computer literacy.
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Project Coordination experience within commercial, electrical, mechanical contracting is a plus.
Five (5) or more years of experience in various project management operations support, accounting, administrative and office management roles (Lighting Experience a Big Plus).
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, SmartSheets and SnapCount a plus.
Pay 62,000 – 72,000 The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.
