Healthcare Administrative Assistant
Pay Rate:
$29/hr.
Assignment duration:
12-week contract with Possible extension
Schedule:
Need flexibility 7:30 am - 4:30 pm or 8 am - 5 pm | Mon - Fri | 40 hours weekly
Summary The Administrative Assistant will support daily operations at the Health Center by delivering a welcoming, efficient, and professional front desk experience. This role point of contact for patients, providing high-quality customer service while managing check-in and check-out, multi-service scheduling in EPIC, and handling incoming calls. The position also performs routine administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, maintaining documentation, and preparing correspondence. The Administrative Assistant ensures the smooth flow of clinic operations while adhering to confidentiality, compliance, and clinical standards. Strong communication skills, professionalism, attention to detail, and reliability are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications
Must have at least 3 years of experience as an Administrative / Office Assistant in a Healthcare setting
Prior experience using EPIC EMR is preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
