Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate judgement and communication skills. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the premises, verifying credentials and reporting any suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as directed. Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements. Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and/or lockdowns, as directed by site protocols. Maintain a professional presence while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location, providing information and assistance as needed. Minimum Requirements
Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
