Total Rewards Lead (North America) – Global Consumer Healthcare Company

A leading global Consumer Healthcare organization is seeking an experienced
North America Rewards Director
to lead the Reward function across the region and provide expert support to global Finance and Growth functions. This is a senior leadership role within a complex, fast-moving, multinational environment, requiring strong change management capability and deep expertise across Compensation, Benefits, Performance, Recognition, and Wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Rewards function for North America, ensuring strong governance and operational excellence.
Coach and develop a regional Benefits leader and contribute to building broader Rewards capability.
Act as a member of the Global Rewards Leadership Team, shaping global Rewards strategy and representing regional needs.
Partner closely with senior business leaders and People teams to anticipate and deliver Rewards solutions aligned to business priorities.
Drive best-practice sharing and strengthen Rewards capability across regional People and leadership communities.
Own and manage the U.S. Benefits strategy in partnership with regional and global Benefits teams.
Monitor external market trends within Consumer Healthcare and comparable industries to benchmark rewards and drive innovation.
Partner with Finance to ensure effective Personnel Cost and Cashflow planning across Compensation and Benefits.
Lead regional governance and communication for global bonus plans and partner on sales and site-based incentive programs.
Support International Mobility processes by providing regional insight and operational expertise.
Required Experience & Skills
10+ years’ experience in Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or Total Rewards roles.
Experience within Consumer Healthcare, FMCG, or similarly complex multinational environments preferred.
Strong ability to operate across regions, cultures, and multi-disciplinary teams.
Excellent business partnering, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical topics clearly and effectively.
Advanced analytical, project management, and Excel/systems capability.
