David Douglas High School is currently seeking a
Head Football Coach .
All candidates must have high school coaching experience. If interested in this position, please contact Athletic Director Brad Joy at David Douglas High School.

Some key elements of the job description for a Varsity Head Coach are:
High ethical and professional standards.
Must have knowledge of a variety of offensive and defensive techniques and strategies.
Must have knowledge of team dynamics at the high school level.
Must have a plan to create a productive relationship with youth sports organization.
Establish a relationship with the community support groups.
Be an appropriate role model for high school student athletics.
Must have the ability to work in a cooperative and harmonious manner to be part of a school-wide athletic program.
Develop and implement an off-season conditioning program.
Must be creative and involved in fundraising programs.
All newly hired coaches will need to complete the following prior to employment:
NFHS Certification
First Aid / CPR Card
District Background check
Completion of OSAA Concussion Test
Completion of OSAA Steroid Test
NFHS Guide to Heat Acclimatization and Heat Illness Prevention Course
Completion of School District and OSAA paperwork
Applicants must submit ALL of the following :

A minimum of three letters of recommendation
