The Mission Golf & Country Club is seeking the services of an Assistant Professional to help the Head Golf Professional and General Manager in the management of the facility’s day-to-day golf operations.
The Mission Golf & Country Club was established in 1961 and is a proud member‑owned golf course. The club has hosted many amateur and professional events. It is a picturesque and challenging course known for its long par‑3s and amazing 9‑hole design. The RCGA has rated MG&CC one of “Canada’s best winter courses,” all while providing exceptional customer service and an unrivaled experience for members and guests.
Location: The Mission Golf & Country Club. Posted 2026‑01‑06. Deadline 2026‑02‑06. Job Summary: The ideal candidate will play a key role in the daily operation of the Golf Shop. You will work with the Professional team and be responsible for supervising and managing the pro‑shop, leagues, and events. All duties of the position shall be performed with a commitment to the highest level of customer service and total satisfaction of all members and guests, which will include, but are not limited to, checking in golfers, handling cash, handling inventory, maintaining control of the tee sheet, organizing tournaments and leagues, overseeing golf operations, and developing good relationships with members.
Responsibilities
Provide efficient and friendly customer service throughout the pro shop, checking in golfers, ringing up charges accurately at the register, and properly checking in all golfers prior to play.
Enforce proper cash‑handling procedures and ensure all standards of operations are met.
Maintain control of the tee sheet and collect all guests, cart, and other fees.
Converse with members and guests in a friendly manner, building relationships to foster a welcoming environment.
Help organize and promote all club tournaments and other special events/functions.
Assist with all aspects of pro‑shop golf operations, including staff management, golf cart parking, storage, cleaning, and washroom upkeep.
Assist on inventory controls, checking‑in merchandise per procedures, organizing storage and display areas, and maintaining inventory records.
Qualifications
PGA of Canada member in good standing.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.
Highly responsible and reliable.
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
Leadership skills.

Compensation
$45,000 to $60,000 annually (based on experience)
