Overview
Mid Vallee Golf Course is seeking a dedicated and service-oriented
Golf Professional
to join our team in a year-round capacity. This position is focused on golf instruction, daily pro shop operations, and delivering an exceptional golf experience to our members and guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching the game, has strong organizational skills, and values customer service.
Experience Required
PGA of America Class A Member or Associate in good standing (preferred)
Strong teaching and communication skills
Proven customer service and interpersonal abilities
Prior golf shop or golf facility experience preferred
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Basic computer skills; POS and tee sheet experience a plus
Essential Responsibilities
Provide private and group instruction for golfers of all skill levels
Develop and grow lesson programs, clinics, and junior golf initiatives
Assist with daily pro shop operations including tee time management, POS transactions, and customer service
Merchandise the golf shop, assist with inventory control, and special orders
Support the administration and execution of leagues, tournaments, and golf events
Maintain professional standards consistent with PGA and facility expectations
Enforce facility policies, rules of play, and pace-of-play standards
Manage clubhouse staff and coordinate with golf operations and management as needed.
