$35-$38 hourly Position Summary
The Surgical Technician (OR/Scrub) assists surgeons and the operating room team by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and providing instruments and supplies during surgical procedures. This role is essential to ensuring patient safety, surgical efficiency, and adherence to sterile technique. Key Responsibilities
Prepare operating rooms prior to surgical procedures, including setting up sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies Scrub in and maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and pass instruments, sutures, and supplies accurately and efficiently Assist with patient positioning, draping, and skin preparation Perform surgical counts (sponges, needles, instruments) in collaboration with the circulating nurse Handle specimens according to facility policy Clean, restock, and prepare the OR for subsequent cases Follow infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies at all times Assist with emergency procedures as needed Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program Current Surgical Technologist certification (CST) preferred or required per facility policy Current BLS certification Knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile technique Ability to remain focused and perform well in high‑pressure environments Equal Opportunity Statement
