Schedule:
Full time, 40 hours/weekly. Monday through Friday, hours between 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Schedule is 5 days x 8 hours.
The Clinical RN Lead is responsible for the oversight and management of the medical practice’s daily clinical operations. The Clinical RN Lead works in collaboration with Regional Nurse Managers. The Clinical RN Lead provides direct patient care through assessment, evaluation, and implementation of evidence‑based care. Additional responsibilities include scheduling, organizing and prioritizing clinical responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
Triage patients; answer and document patient phone calls; take complete messages and route to providers as needed using the EHR
Conduct outreach to patients in need of appointments or other services, to communicate test results and other information, and to follow up after appointments to be sure patients are following their plan of care, refer patients when appropriate
Educate patients regarding their illness or injury and provide instruction regarding self‑management of their condition
Document all patient interactions and other clinical activities accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record
Carry out standing orders
Respond to tasks in a timely manner, follow up on overdue orders/worklists and monitor status of critical referrals
In coordination with Regional Nurse Managers, maintain oversight of temperature monitoring and complete annual CLIA competencies
Maintain knowledge of current coding, OSHA and CLIA regulations and company policies
Adhere to all patient safety initiatives and infection control regulations
Create and manage the clinical team’s schedule including creating assignments for rotating practice duties (CLIA, supply ordering and O2 logs, etc.)
Lead the team to function in a patient centered environment
Assist care team to assure smooth office operation and delivery of excellent service through teamwork
Responsible for the daily operations of the practice including scheduling, processes, protocols, practice flow, and provider support
Maintains open communication with practice and Regional team members
Participate in interviewing and precepting clinical team members
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
Active unrestricted RN licensure in CT
1+ years of nursing experience in a hospital or medical office
Experience with charge/clinical lead responsibilities
Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
BSN
CPR/BLS Certification
Experience working with Epic
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience working in a hospital or medical office
Pediatric experience
Phone triage experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
