Product Solutions Engineer, Platforms and TV Google, Boulder, CO; Atlanta, GA. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $123,000–$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience coding in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).

Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal or external partners or customers.

Experience with unit testing, agile software development, and bug and change‑management systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience developing business‑intelligence platform dashboards, workflows, and SQL pipelines.

Understanding and experience in developing Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Model (LLM) based solutions.

Excellent project‑management and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.

As a Product Solutions Engineer (PSE) for the Android Ecosystem, you are passionate about helping users. You enjoy landing new features and improving existing ones so that users get the most out of Android. You drive solutions for problems affecting the Android user experience by leveraging analytical, operational, and technical skills. You harness engineering, web‑tech, and data‑science capabilities and work cross‑functionally with gTech Users and Products (gUP) teams to develop support solutions on one hand and influence product strategy on the other.

We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are, providing support and help, representing their needs with product partners, and proposing fixes and features that elevate engagement with Google’s diverse product ecosystem. We also provide a range of product services that ensure products are optimised for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localisation, digitisation, partner integration, and more).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain solutions to enable exceptional user and partner experiences across the Android Ecosystem (Android, Chrome OS, Android XR, Wear OS, Google TV, etc.).

Develop data pipelines and reporting systems, including interactive dashboards, to provide and visualise key data insights. Develop tools such as web applications and scripts to automate workflows and optimise efficiency.

Analyse and interpret data to identify patterns and trends that inform business strategies.

Collaborate and influence gUP, PM, and engineering stakeholders to identify inefficiencies and pain points in existing operations and tools, and scope and prioritise solutions.

Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively with teams, users and partners to provide feedback and deliver solutions. Support legal and compliance efforts by developing data‑preservation policies, managing access controls, and assisting with data‑related legal matters.
