Job Summary As a Banquet Server (On‑Call), you will provide high‑quality, personalized experiences to guests during events. You will prepare the room, set stations, serve meals, arrange tables and ensure guest satisfaction while upholding the resort’s standards of service excellence.
Responsibilities
Promote Regent’s service philosophy and style through our people attributes.
Maintain impeccable personal grooming standards to uphold the professional and property style of the resort.
Set up and break down event spaces, including arranging tables and chairs, setting the table with appropriate linens and tableware, and ensuring overall aesthetics meet resort standards.
During events, provide excellent service to guests—taking and delivering orders, refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, other servers, and event coordinators to convey guest requests and dietary restrictions accurately.
Understand the resort’s menu offerings, explain items, make recommendations, and accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions.
Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, polite, and responsive to guest needs.
Adhere to high service quality standards, including maintaining a polished appearance, following service protocols, and ensuring cleanliness in dining areas.
Collaborate with other banquet servers and staff members to efficiently handle large events and complete tasks seamlessly.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high‑end or luxury hospitality environment.
Exceptional customer service skills and friendliness.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests, colleagues, and kitchen staff. Good verbal and written communication ensures accurate conveyance of guest requests.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift and carry trays of food and beverages.
Problem‑solving skills and the ability to promptly address and resolve issues.
High level of professionalism required in a luxury resort environment.
Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card, as required by local or state government agency.
Reading and writing abilities, basic math skills, and flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What You Can Expect From Us The hourly pay rate for this role is
$16.50 to $17.00, plus tips . This rate applies only to jobs performed at
