The City of Casper is seeking a detail-oriented
Engineering Technician
to support the design, construction, and maintenance of municipal infrastructure. This position plays a key role in coordinating engineering projects, performing construction inspections, creating and updating technical drawings and maps, and assisting with surveying and data collection. Perform construction inspections, surveys, utility locating, and field verification Prepare and update drawings, maps, and project documents using AutoCAD and GIS Collect, record, and interpret GPS/GIS data for utilities and right-of-way Read and understand technical plans; complete accurate calculations Communicate effectively and provide professional customer service Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required Two (2) years of drafting or technical engineering experience Associate’s degree in a related field preferred Valid Wyoming driver’s license preferred Why Join Us?
