Their work directly supports the building and creation of hardware that enables safety for warfighters, firefighters, first responders, aircraft landing, rockets launching, satellite orbit, and astronaut research.

Responsibilities

Preparing/completing set up of the clean room.

Mixing and preparing cleaning operations.

Ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.

Complying with all work and process instructions.

Participating in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement.

Identifying improvement opportunities.

Lifting up to and including 50 pounds.

Utilizing proper PPE for each task associated with the job.

Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.

Completing and maintaining training to meet the required level of certified elements in position.

Properly managing traceability of components to ensure accuracy.

Performing proper checks and procedures to ensure quality product.

Using a microscope and other measuring devices to complete particle count process required for cleaning the product.

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience OR 1 year of military experience.

US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts.

Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment and tools such as lathes, curing ovens, thermal and/or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, as well as standard hand tools.
