Base Pay Range $55,000.00/hr - $63,000.00/hr

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical components, and HVAC/R systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on all production machinery, including mixers, filling machines, packaging equipment, and conveyors. Follow and complete reports on equipment condition and inspection findings.

Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues in machinery and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Trace problems to their root cause and implement solutions to resolve issues more permanently; work with engineering and fabrication to implement long‑term solutions for common problems.

Develop improvements to the efficiency of the production lines and increase uptime in collaboration with production, engineering, and fabrication.

Execute both planned and unplanned repairs, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques to restore equipment functionality.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance; ensure all work is documented in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Use CMMS to track and log work, manage parts used, etc.

Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on machinery; participate in safety training and ensure adherence to industry standards.

Work closely with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize impact on production schedules; collaborate with other technicians to complete tasks and share knowledge.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in mechatronics, industrial automation, mechanical engineering or related field is a plus.

3+ years of field experience, preferably in automated food packaging equipment or food processing environment.

English required. Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).

Experience

Proven experience as an industrial mechanic or in a similar maintenance role.

Familiarity with low voltage systems and hydraulics is preferred.

Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.

Must possess the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Skills

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge of automated machinery used in food supplement manufacturing.

Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in food production.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience using a CMMS like MaintainX for documentation.

Certifications (e.g., OSHA, maintenance‑specific certifications) are a plus.
