Qualifications
College student currently pursuing a Health and Safety Bachelor's Degree
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Must be 18 years of age
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-directed and able to work without supervision
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Responsibilities
Participate in and lead incident investigations and learning teams using the RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) and framework.
Participate on the plant’s joint health and safety committee and complete other initiatives which drive safety excellence.
Perform audits and inspections. Coach employees to assist in connecting front-line employees with safety initiatives and goals.
Present pre-developed safety topics
Participate as a Member of the sites METs (medical emergency team) group
Be willing to transform; Seek, develop, and utilize our visions, strategies, methods, and products to create the greatest value; demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and motivation to succeed.
