Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality professional to support inspection and quality assurance operations in a machine shop environment in Joplin. This role focuses on product inspections, quality audits, and compliance with established quality systems and industry standards. The Quality Control role plays a key part in maintaining manufacturing excellence by ensuring products meet quality requirements throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
Perform quality audits and document findings for continuous improvement
Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines
Ensure compliance with ISO and AS9000 standards
Implement and monitor HACCP protocols where applicable
Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed quality reports
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
Support the development and maintenance of quality systems
Required Qualifications
Experience with quality audits and QA/QC processes in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inspection data
Knowledge of precision measuring tools, including vision inspection systems
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
