Pipe Fitter
We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Pipe Fitter to support the assembly of custom pump skid systems. This role involves hands‑on mechanical assembly, pipe fitting, and collaboration with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure high‑quality, safe, and efficient builds from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble pump skids and related mechanical components from start to finish.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
Measure, cut, fit, and install piping, valves, pumps, motors, and instrumentation.
Use hand and power tools to assemble and secure components according to design specifications.
Perform quality inspections to ensure systems meet design and safety standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues or discrepancies during the build process.
Collaborate closely with engineering and fabrication teams to address design or assembly challenges.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all safety procedures and report hazards, incidents, or near misses.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, pipe fitting, pump systems, or a related field.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with industrial pump systems or skid‑mounted equipment is a plus.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Experience with welding, electrical basics, and tubing are helpful.
Work Environment This position is based in a manufacturing or fabrication setting and requires hands‑on physical work with mechanical systems.
