Piper Companies is seeking a

Part-Time Machinist

to join a global leader in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry for an

onsite contract

position

(20 hours/week)

located in

Clayton, NC . The

Part-Time Machinist

will support manufacturing operations by operating and maintaining precision machinery to ensure production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Part-Time Machinist include:

Operate and maintain CNC and manual machines to produce high-quality components.

Perform routine inspections and measurements to ensure compliance with specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to optimize machine performance.

Adhere to all safety protocols and GMP standards within a regulated environment.

Qualifications for the Part-Time Machinist include:

Previous experience operating CNC and manual machining equipment.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machining processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Familiarity with GMP and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.

Compensation for the Part-Time Machinist:

Salary Range: $62,000-$82,000/year (dependent upon experience)

Comprehensive Benefits: Medical (Cigna), Dental (Guardian), Vision (VSP), sick leave if required by law, and 401K (Voya through ADP)
