Registered Nurse (RN) PACU
Full‑time/Varies position located at Corona Regional Medical Center (CRMC) in Corona, CA
Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Recovery Room Registered Nurse receives patients from the Operating Room and other ancillary departments, monitors vital signs, and makes necessary interventions as prescribed, within scope of nursing, by surgeon or anesthesiologist. The RN may also assist in transporting patients to outpatient surgery and surgical floors. The RN helps monitor IV sedation and local cases in the Operating Room and is capable of providing competent care for patients throughout the lifespan, from infancy to geriatrics.
The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has evolved to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. Corona Community Hospital merged with Circle City Medical Center in 1992, and the resulting entity became Corona Regional Medical Center. The merged hospitals are now a 259‑bed community hospital network comprised of an acute care hospital and a rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

Qualifications Minimum Essential Experience
One year Critical Care or PACU experience or basic Coronary Care Class with hemodynamic experience required
Age specific education and/or experience
Required Licensure / Certifications
Current CA Registered Nurse license required
Current BLS (CPR), ACLS and PALS certificate required
