Job Description 3rd Shift Sanitation Technician will support the Production department in a variety of functions and tasks.

Qualifications

Effective communication skills, including basic writing skills

Strong interpersonal skills

Ability to read and interpret documents written in English such as safety rules, policies, standard operating procedures and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

3rd Shift: 10pm - 6am, Full Time Hours

Additional hours including weekends will be required during peak seasons (August - December)

Responsibilities

Follow all safety procedures, report all safety issues to the immediate supervisor, use safety gear as required

Responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of catch pans, bucket conveyor systems, utensils, walls, ceilings, floors, pipes, kettles, top of equipment, and other areas used in the manufacturing of food.

Complete all necessary tasks required by Plant Sanitarian

Maintains the equipment wash stations and hand wash sink as per standard operating procedures.

Reports damaged product-contact parts, utensils and/or equipment to a supervisor.

Maintain all equipment cleaned by the Sanitation department.

Follow all GMPs.

Empty all trash, and product waste containers after cleaning is done

Ability to work with or with no supervision

Follow company guidelines regarding occupational safety OSHA including wearing appropriate PPE and following LOTO

Report any hazards or concerns to the sanitation supervisor

Clean vinyl curtains, lockers, dock area for bailer, and dumpster.

Complete Preoperational inspections with Quality Staff

Any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned '

Salary The expected salary range for this position is $19/hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
