3rd Shift Sanitation Technician
A Sanitation Technician on the 3rd Shift (10pm – 6am) supports the Production department in a variety of functions and tasks. Additional hours including weekends may be required during peak seasons (August–December).
Qualifications
Effective communication skills, including basic writing skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to read and interpret documents written in English such as safety rules, policies, SOPs, and maintenance instructions.
Full time hours on the 3rd Shift (10pm – 6am).
Ability to work with or without supervision.
Responsibilities
Follow all safety procedures, report safety issues to supervisor, and use required safety gear.
Clean and sanitize catch pans, bucket conveyor systems, utensils, walls, ceilings, floors, pipes, kettles, top of equipment, and other food manufacturing areas.
Complete tasks required by Plant Sanitarian.
Maintain equipment wash stations and hand wash sink per standard operating procedures.
Report damaged product-contact parts, utensils, and/or equipment to supervisor.
Maintain all equipment cleaned by sanitation department.
Follow GMPs.
Empty trash and product waste containers after cleaning.
Follow company guidelines regarding occupational safety (OSHA) including wearing appropriate PPE and following LOTO.
Report hazards or concerns to the sanitation supervisor.
Clean vinyl curtains, lockers, dock area for bailer, and dumpster.
Complete preoperational inspections with Quality Staff.
Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Compensation Expected Salary: $19/hour. Compensation determined by experience and factors permitted by law.
