Job Overview The 1st Shift Part Time Automated Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by retrieving and stacking specific products and quantities according to pick tickets or computer screens. The role requires safe, accurate, and efficient handling of goods on conveyors and pallets throughout the warehouse’s pick area, while maintaining standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. The candidate will also build stable pallets of product to meet or exceed warehouse and company expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist and facilitate case‑picking and sorting within the automated environment using computers, software, and complex machines while adhering to all established safety procedures and policies.

Collaborate with team members to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes.

Adapt to role needs and maintain knowledge of working in various areas of the warehouse throughout the work day.

Assist in daily housekeeping and maintenance, keeping the work area free of trash, debris, and spills, and following waste removal and recycling protocols.

Work safely, accurately, and efficiently to control inventory and keep shrink at an acceptable level.

Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of the warehouse in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Work in a fast‑paced environment while walking and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Collaborate within a team environment and coordinate efficient warehouse processes.

Read and interpret instructions from a computer screen.

Pay attention to detail and differentiate packages accurately.

Adapt to noisy, non‑temperature‑controlled conditions (hot in summer, cold in winter).

Be a self‑starter who takes initiative and seeks value‑add opportunities.

Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and work hours.

Utilize screens, monitors, and devices to pick accurately and within given sequences.

Minimum Qualifications

1–3 years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Work Environment Noisy and non‑temperature‑controlled environment.
