The Warehouse Associate is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinating activities in the Shipping/Receiving Dock including unloading and loading semi‑trucks, U.P.S. and FedEx trucks.

Responsible for incoming and outgoing products and goods. Packaging and preparing LTL shipment and documentation.

Routing material to either staging or shipping areas.

Mechanically inclined.

Ability to work on valve automation and assembly under guidance from the warehouse supervisor.

Must be experienced operating a forklift. Certification is a plus.

Use Microsoft Office, Outlook, and additional software to track and communicate internally, as well as with customers, carriers and suppliers.

Maintains condition of work area (e.g., free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.

Attention to detail, highly organized, and able to prioritize work.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required. 0‑2 years of experience in a relevant area.

Knowledge of typical warehouse equipment, machines and tools.

Experience with material resource planning and/or production control systems such as SAP.

Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic control systems.

Physical Demands

Frequently required to stand.

Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.

Occasionally balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.

Continually required to talk or hear.

Continually require visual acuity to read technical information and/or use a keyboard.

Occasionally required to lift, push or carry items up to 25 pounds.

Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.

Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions.

Occasionally exposed to loud noise (e.g., shop tool noises, electric motors, moving mechanical equipment).

This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required, typically requiring less than 10% travel.
