JOB SUMMARY The Maintenance Technician is part of the team that maintains and optimizes our equipment reliability to ensure production and quality goals are met. Applicants need to possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities to be considered:

Must maintain excellent attendance reliability

Familiarity and experience with motors, drives, contacts, relays, timers, PLC's, PC's.

Corrugated equipment maintenance experience or related heavy industrial maintenance experience

Ability to perform electrical and mechanical work as necessary

Technical understanding and skills with a focus on safety

Ability to read and understand wiring schematics, machine manuals, mechanical drawings and blueprints

Knowledge of preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines

Understanding of control circuits, hydraulics and pneumatics

Ability to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts

Willing to work a night shift (11pm-7am)

Willing to work mandatory overtime and weekends, as needed

Ability to remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts

Ensure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures

Willingness to take initiative, learn new skills and help team members

General computer skills such as the ability to navigate through program screens

Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and understand production specifications

Awareness of OSHA standards for electrical safety

EDUCATION

Corrugating and manufacturing experience, a plus

Associate's degree or higher in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, or a related field preferred

Demonstrated advanced training or certification in the maintenance mechanical/electrical industry

Lean manufacturing knowledge, especially 5S
