TGC is currently seeking a
Building Maintenance Technician
to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. The Building Maintenance Tech will be responsible for general maintenance duties at all TGC facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other general maintenance.

Competitive hourly compensation of $20.00 to $22.40, depending upon qualifications
Primary Duties
Execute routine and scheduled maintenance for all facilities.
Complete routine walk-through inspections of facility systems and equipment to identify and report any visible wear, damage, leaks, or unusual operational conditions.
During inclement weather, assist with snow removal, placing ice melt on walkways, and sweeping ice melt granules away from sidewalks after snow is gone.
Coordinate movement of furniture and assist employees when changing offices. Assemble office furniture as assigned.
Respond to maintenance requests, make repairs if able, coordinate with external agencies for repairs.
Assist Facilities Maintenance Manager with light plumbing and HVAC concerns.
Paint and patch holes in walls as assigned.
Change light bulbs and ballast replacement, fuses, weather stripping, door hardware, and basic plumbing fixtures when needed.
Move packages from front desk area to supply closet as directed by staff.
Perform specified tasks to assist with building maintenance.
Education and Licensure Required: High school diploma or GED and valid Driver’s License is required.
Experience Required: A minimum of one year experience in general maintenance is required.
Preferred: Vocational training or certificate in trade like HVAC, basic electrical, or plumbing is preferred.
