Project Scheduler - Primavera Location: Raleigh, NC - 27616 (hybrid—3 days a week in office/on site.)

Duration: 6 months

About the role

5-10 years scheduling experience in engineering and/or construction project management within substation construction.

Expert knowledge of EPC project delivery methods, scheduling, estimating, cost control, procurement, and business development, with a focus on high‑voltage substations.

Expert level proficiency with Primavera scheduling software.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication skills with project managers, site superintendents, subcontractors, engineers and procurement.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, multi‑tasking, advanced time‑management and analysis.

Self‑motivated, decisive, adaptable, able to motivate cross‑functional teams and develop technical solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and present all project Primavera schedules.

Collaborate with project team members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure schedule accuracy.

Promote scheduling as an effective tool, not just a picture.

Understand schedule logic and justify reasoning.

Act as a reviewer, identify and correct activity errors.

Perform detailed time impact analysis with project manager.

Provide schedule information and narrative for official correspondence and change‑order management.

Accurately insert and maintain delay and change orders.

Generate monthly schedule‑reporting metrics.

Coordinate cross‑organizational departments (sales, procurement, engineering, construction, commissioning) to complete schedules.

Review contract milestones and ensure they are reflected in the schedule.

Document events impacting schedule, scope, and efficiency.
