Qualifications / Skills / Experience

Approximately 5–10 years of scheduling experience in engineering and/or construction project management, with full project life cycle ownership within substation construction.

Knowledge of EPC project delivery methods and all project management control systems (scheduling, estimating, cost control, procurement, business development), especially high voltage substations.

Expert proficiency with Primavera scheduling software.

Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively, innovate, and deliver excellence.

Effective communication with project managers, site superintendents, subcontractors, engineers, and procurement to ensure data accuracy in the schedule.

Excellent organizational skills: attention to detail, multitasking, advanced time management, and analytical abilities.

Self‑motivated, decisive, adaptable, and able to build strong cross‑functional relationships for technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and present all project Primavera schedules.

Collaborate closely with project team members, subcontractors, and clients to keep schedules accurate and up‑to‑date.

Promote a culture where schedules are functional tools, not mere pictures.

Understand schedule logic and the supporting reasoning behind it.

Act as a reviewer for the project team, identifying and correcting logic errors.

Conduct detailed time‑impact analyses in coordination with the project manager.

Assist in preparing schedule information and narrative for official correspondence and change‑order management.

Ensure delay and change orders are accurately inserted and maintained in the schedule.

Generate monthly schedule reporting metrics as required.

Coordinate and manage cross‑organisational departments (sales, procurement, engineering, construction, commissioning) to meet schedule requirements.

Review project contracts for milestone activities and confirm they are scheduled.

Document project events that affect the schedule, scope of work, and efficiency.
