Compensation Starting Pay: $23/hr
Schedule Mon‑Fri (7am - 5pm)
Job Responsibilities
Work in a team‑oriented and safety conscious environment. Safety expectations include, but are not limited to, compliance with all company safety guidelines and procedures.
Perform assigned tasks, including lubricating equipment, performing preventive maintenance and contamination prevention on all equipment. Lubrication techniques and preventive maintenance to be performed in conformance with established standards set forth by the company.
Provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
Have working knowledge of the following topics: using lubrication tools, hand/power tools, basic mathematics, preventive/predictive maintenance.
Have or be able to obtain basic computer skills.
Keep all areas and machines clean of leaked or spilled lubricants.
Use hand tools on a daily basis such as power tools (hand grinders, saws, impact wrenches, drill press and additional assigned tools).
Operate and have knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and basket trucks.
Work from elevated areas such as ladders, platforms, scaffolding, etc., utilizing fall protection equipment as necessary to complete tasks.
Have flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends as demanded by the job.
Perform any and all other duties assigned by the responsible supervisor.
Qualifications
Education: Possess a high school degree or an approved GED. MLT‑1 (Machinery Lubrication Technician, Level 1) certification preferred but not required.
Experience: One‑year experience in lubrication preferred but not required.
Work Environment & Physical Responsibilities Duties are performed in a loud production setting subject to extreme temperatures. Some duties may be required to be performed outside. Comfortable with repetitive movement, kneeling, crouching and stooping. Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds while bending, twisting and/or standing.
