Shift Supervisor

Position Summary A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. When the Manager or Operations Supervisor is not onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for all opening and closing procedures.
Essential Functions
Manage and support store operations, leading the crew when the Manager or Operations Supervisor is absent.
Supervise the store’s crew: assign tasks, direct work, and follow up on all activities.
Effectively communicate information between store management and crews.
Provide superior customer service: assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints, promote a positive shopping experience, and handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy.
Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
Merchandise and presentation: price merchandise, stock shelves, execute displays, sign inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise, and maintain off‑shelf merchandise.
Reset departments following Plan of Good (POGs).
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication and supervision skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, respond to urgent store issues, and work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
Anticipated Weekly Hours 29 hours
Time Type Part time
Pay Range $16.00 – $23.00 per hour (base hourly rate; actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors).
