JOB TITLE:
Fabric and Leather Material Handler
SALARY:
Non-Exempt – Full Time - Hourly
LOCATION:
Arhaus Upholstery – Conover, NC
WEEKLY HOURS:
Monday – Friday 6am – 3:30pm (Overtime as needed)

REPORTS TO:
Cutting Supervisor
Job Purpose Ensures fabric and leather are stored properly and maintains the required material in the cutting areas in a timely manner.
Duties And Responsibilities
Keep fabric and leather storage area neat and organized.
Maintain correct fabric and leather at the machines and cutting tables per the schedule.
Works closely with receiving and manufacturing.
Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Working Conditions Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.
Qualifications Minimum Experience:
1+ years in receiving.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in furniture manufacturing.
Education:
Less than High School (minimum) – Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Required Skills:
Must be able to read a production ticket and material tag, work safely at a fast pace, possess good math skills, be a team player, reliable, able to work with minimum supervision, have reliable transportation, work weekends & overtime, strong communication skills in English.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Lift/push/pull up to 100 lbs.
Obtain Forklift/Platform/Order Picker certification.
Work at heights of up to 35 ft.
Walk/stand for minimum 8 hours per day.
Work in normal conditions of a heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant.
Good vision.
Wear required PPE: safety glasses and close-toe/close-heel shoes as required.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
