This role is responsible for managing daily safety execution, influencing field leadership, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and site‑specific safety requirements. The ideal candidate is confident operating independently, comfortable in high‑risk environments, and respected by field crews and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage on‑site safety programs for active construction operations

Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and field observations

Support planning and execution of high‑risk activities, including precast erection and lifting operations

Review and support Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), lift plans, and detailed work plans

Facilitate safety orientations, toolbox talks, and targeted safety meetings

Partner with project leadership to address hazards, corrective actions, and direct risk controls

Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking

Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and compliance records

Serve as the primary safety point of contact for field teams and client representatives

Qualifications

Minimum 8-10 years of construction safety experience

Precast concrete experience required

BCSP certification (CHST, SMP, ASP, CSP, or equivalent certification preferred)

Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards

Proven ability to work independently in fast‑paced, high‑risk environments

Excellent communication skills and professional field presence

Experience working directly with superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel

Proficiency with safety documentation and reporting tools (Procore, SafetyCulture, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Fieldwire, VelocityEHS, SiteDocs, or similar preferred)
