Qualcomm's QCT Automotive C2C team is responsible for building embedded, next‑generation system‑on‑chip solutions for the C2C segment as part of a Global Qualcomm Automotive initiative across sites and continents. We are looking for Software Engineers with strong expertise in Automotive and Security domains for upcoming Automotive products. A successful candidate will work in the C2C team, offering in‑depth expertise on automotive modules, collaborating with engineering teams across functional areas, and driving continuous improvement of the security of Qualcomm automotive products. Requirements include: 3+ years of industry experience in automotive background with exposure to heterogeneous computing and co‑processor architecture. Deep understanding of ARM system, DSP and CPU architecture with strong C/C++ working knowledge. Experience with hypervisor architecture (Intel, ARM, AMD, etc.) is a plus. Embedded system architecture with experience in one or more RTOS (Android, Linux, QNX, etc.) and embedded software design. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of software engineering experience. OR Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 1+ year of software engineering experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field. 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Strong understanding of embedded hardware, computer architecture and operating system concepts. Good understanding of OS concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, etc. Understanding of RTOS fundamentals like multi‑threading, interrupt management, cache/memory management, etc. Experience in real‑time software development for embedded products. Android Automotive OS / AOSP hands‑on (minimum A13 onwards). Linux Kernel and Linux Android boot working experience. Android stability, debugging including monkey, instrumentation frameworks. Android CTS, VTS, STS. Basic understanding of GKI, GSI and compliance requirements. Android HAL understanding (HIDL, AIDL, VNDK) and interactions with multiple layers. Working knowledge of Android build system. Motivated self‑starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to lead people. Strong C/C++ programming skills, hands‑on experience with Java, C++ libraries/JNI and frameworks. Experience in Git, Android Make, Android tools, Android Studio, ADB.
