What You Will Be Doing As a Software Automated Test Engineer you will be responsible for developing test cases and supporting the automated test infrastructure of the automated test team, helping to move testing to the left as a means for enabling faster delivery and release cycles, reduced costs, and increased security.

Developing and maintaining test scripts that support efforts of the ADP programs

Develop and evolve automated testing infrastructure for software suites, including hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HITL) and simulation environments.

Working with many internal and external teams so it’s important to be able to work and integrate closely with others and into Agile practices

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above from an accredited college/university in a STEM discipline (or equivalent experience)

Software Development, System Testing, Automated Testing, or automation experience

Experience programming in Python and C++

Experience with Linux/Unix

Experience with automation tools and development

Desired Skills

Experience leading software projects

Experience developing software on Linux

A strong interest in supporting software development for airborne systems

Experience supporting aircraft build pipelines

Experience with aircraft sensors, datalinks, navigation, and/or weapons

Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
