Accounting Manager

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of trust accounting, property management, and real estate accounting. Prior experience in property management accounting is required. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations Manage trust accounts and ensure compliance with regulations Prepare financial reports and reconciliations Collaborate with management on budgets, forecasts, and audits Support process improvements and problem-solving initiatives Analyze financial data to support decision-making Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls Communicate with property owners, vendors, and management to resolve accounting inquiries Preferred Qualifications: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience (vacation rental or property management preferred) 2+ years of trust accounting experience Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, and property management software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year 401(k) 401(k) matching Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Application Question(s): This position is based in Kitty Hawk, NC.
