As a Maintenance Technician B, you’ll perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems. You’ll use your experience to troubleshoot issues, support continuous improvement, and help train junior technicians.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs across production and facility equipment Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems Support root cause analysis and problem‑solving projects Clean, lubricate, and inspect machinery for wear or damage Monitor and maintain plant systems (boilers, compressors, HVAC, etc.) Use manuals, drawings, and technical resources to diagnose issues Assist with emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance Train and support lower-level technicians Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies Perform other duties as assigned Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred 5+ years of maintenance experience, including manufacturing Mechanical/electrical trade background or technical school preferred Working knowledge of CMMS strongly recommended Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens Flexible to work overtime based on business needs Skills
Comfortable using CMMS and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word) Experience with SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred Strong attention to detail and organization Advanced math and reading skills Able to read blueprints and create rough sketches Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment Knowledge of electrical testing tools and mechanical systems Team-oriented, dependable, and self-motivated Willing to learn and adapt to changing tasks Compensation
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $35.15–$36.11* and includes a $3.00/hour shift differential. Final compensation may vary based on factors such as knowledge, skills, and abilities and geographic location. Benefits
