Shift:
Overnight – 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, Sunday to Thursday
As a Maintenance Technician B, you’ll perform a wide range of repairs and maintenance tasks to keep our equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll work across mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, using your experience to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement. You’ll also help train junior technicians and contribute to a safe, organized, and high‑performing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs across production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems.
Support root‑cause analysis and problem‑solving projects.
Clean, lubricate, and inspect machinery for wear or damage.
Monitor and maintain plant systems such as boilers, compressors, and HVAC.
Use manuals, drawings, and technical resources to diagnose issues.
Assist with emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance.
Train and support lower‑level technicians.
Follow safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
5+ years of maintenance experience, including manufacturing.
Mechanical/electrical trade background or technical school preferred.
Working knowledge of CMMS strongly recommended.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout the shift.
Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens.
Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.
Skills
Comfortable using CMMS and basic software (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Experience with SAP, Oracle, AS400, PQM, or Captiva preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organization.
Advanced math and reading skills.
Able to read blueprints and create rough sketches.
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and machine shop equipment.
Knowledge of electrical testing tools and mechanical systems.
Team‑oriented, dependable, and self‑motivated.
Willing to learn and adapt to changing tasks.
The approximate hourly pay for this position is $35.15–$36.11 per hour. This range is a good‑faith estimate and may vary based on knowledge, skills, and geographic location. *The rate includes a $3.00 / hour shift differential.
