Technical Business Systems Analyst with Acord Mapping (CREQ126352) Technical Business Systems Analyst – Jersey City, NJ (Remote). Full‑time, permanent position.

Must Have

Overall 5 to 7 years of Technical BA experience, with hands‑on experience writing technical user stories and involvement in microservices, middleware development, and integration projects.

Deep life‑insurance domain expertise of at least 3 years.

XML mapping experience.

Good to Have

ACCORD mapping experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibility is playing a technical business analyst role.

Demonstrate up‑to‑date expertise in information systems and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices.

Correspond with technical architects to identify and document technical requirements in the form of user stories.

Analyze existing API requests/responses and update specifications with new technical requirements.

Drive requirement elicitation and elaboration sessions, providing thought leadership and leveraging insurance domain expertise.

Have at least 3 years of experience in an Agile/Scrum‑based project environment.

Overall 5 to 7 years of business analyst experience.

Work on API modernization/middleware integration projects.

Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.

Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep stakeholders up‑to‑date on project results.

Provide project‑level analysis, producing required documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future‑state proposals, UAT plan).

Develop relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.

Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management.

Continuously seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Manage client expectations effectively.

Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.

Lead internal teams as necessary.

Exhibit confidence and extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices when solving business problems.

Push creative thinking beyond existing industry practices and client mindsets.

Facilitate effective team interaction.

Collaborate closely with developers to implement requirements, providing necessary guidance to testers during QA.

Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive).

Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements.

Assess business process and system inefficiencies.
