Job Description You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities:
Effective delegation of work to team members
Project management performance and execution
Cost, schedule, and milestone development/management
Risk (threats/opportunities) development and management
Customer communication and relationships
Mechanical Systems design and component controller integration
Electro-MechanicalSystem and Component Modeling and Analysis
Control architecture and design
Physics based model development and system design
Root cause and corrective action planning and execution
Mechanical Systems validation & verification
Understand actuation technology
Metric development/reporting
Hardware supplier technical communication/interface
Technical documentation – Test plans, procedures, and reports
Analysis of test data results
Assess customer requirements documentation
Assess Government regulatory requirements
Design validation and verification through build and test execution
Proposal development support of estimation of resources and schedule
Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
At least 7 years of experience in electromechanical engineering.
Experience as a customer technical interface.
Led integration of actuation systems and development of related components.
Expertise in technical problem-solving and root cause analysis.
WE VALUE
Masters degree in system design and controls or equivalent experience
Knowledge of the systems and component development lifecycles
Experience with Agile work flow planning
Experience withsystems requirement flow down
Experience developing RCCA plans and execution, with demonstrated results
Experience with implementing control architecture in electronic controller applications
Experience with Real Time hardware in the loop controller development
Control theory basics (block diagram representations of nonlinear and linearized systems, frequency response, gain and phase margins, time constants and interactions, etc.
Systems simulation (proficiency with Matlab/Simulink and Excel or other performance modeling software)
Thermodynamics experience
Individuals that quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts
Experience with MBSE tools.
Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.
Multi-tasking and has the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks.
Experience withsystems requirement V&V
