As a recruiter, I am delighted to be working with a small, growing, and long-established accountancy firm based in Folkestone, who are looking to appoint an Accounts & Bookkeeping Semi-Senior.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with solid practice experience who is keen to build on their foundations and take the next step in their career. The Role You will work closely with senior team members and partners, supporting a varied client portfolio and gaining broad experience across accounts and bookkeeping.
Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Bookkeeping duties, including VAT returns
Assisting with management accounts where appropriate
Liaising with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
Supporting senior staff across a range of general practice work
Candidate Requirements
In excess of two years’ experience within UK accountancy practice
Strong grounding in bookkeeping and accounts preparation
Studying AAT, ACCA, ACA, or keen to continue with professional training
Well organised with good attention to detail
Ambitious and motivated to progress within practice
