Join our team at Collingswood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Respiratory Therapist. Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services Full-time opportunities available Monday-Friday 7 AM- 7 PM $3 PIB $40-$55 an hour Responsibilities Perform chest examinations on a range of patients
Consult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plans
Provide detailed therapy, requiring significant independent judgment
Perform exams and diagnostic tests measuring lung capacity and blood acidity/alkalinity
Treat patients using oxygen or oxygen mixtures, aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy
Connect patient who can't breathe to a ventilator
Educate patients and families on how to use equipment and medications
Regularly monitor both patients and equipment
3 years' experience
Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
Current state licensure
Experience with Trach Care and Ventilator Management in skilled nursing home, LTACH or hospital setting
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with residents and families
