The Clinical Pharmacist I is responsible for involvement in the clinical aspects of pharmaceutical patient care including interaction with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of a Pharm.D. Degree.
Completion of a clinical pharmacy residency program or 5 years of hospital pharmacy experience with a minimum of three years in clinical practice.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred
Advanced training in a specialty area (e.g., oncology, pediatrics, cardiology, infectious disease, etc.).
Licenses and Certifications Required
Registered Pharmacist License.
Working Conditions Lifts a minimum of 10 lbs., pushes and pulls a minimum of 40 lbs. and stands a minimum of 4 hours a day.
