OVERNIGHT Associate Veterinarian; $20k signing bonus - Private ER Practice

We're an independently owned, AAHA-accredited, VECCS II Certified, 24/7 emergency practice, within a larger specialty hospital. Ideal candidates for this position will be internship-trained, enthusiastic, and motivated to support our rapidly growing caseload. Exceptional candidates that did not undergo internship training will also be considered.
Based in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, AERC-Main resides within the Veterinary Specialty Center (VSC), a 24-hour small‑animal specialty hospital fully equipped with endoscopy, bronchoscopy, digital radiology, multiple surgical suites with ventilators, ultrasound, high‑flow oxygen, and CT scan. AERC maintains state‑of‑the‑art veterinary equipment and laboratory, with blood chemistry, full differential CBC, coagulation profile (VCM), blood gas analyzers, and Sedivue urinalysis machine, sevoflurane anesthesia, telemetry and patient monitors (ECG, temperature, capnography, pulse oximetry, oscillometric and direct arterial blood pressure), and therapeutic laser. The caseload is diverse with the emergency department seeing over 15,000 cases annually. AERC's emergency doctors practice progressive medicine, with ready access to VSC's board certified veterinary specialists.
We are currently hiring for a full‑time overnight DVM. Part‑time positions can be considered. Our full‑time schedule consists of 3x12‑hour shifts per week. Doctors rotate through weekends and holidays, allowing for desired / requested weekend and holiday time off for all doctors throughout the year. We strive to provide balance for our entire team and attempt to accommodate all reasonable schedule requests.
Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD)
Colorado State Veterinary License (required prior to start date)
Must be willing to work an average of 12–14 overnight shifts per month, including some weekends and holidays.
