PURPOSE
Key player in Sourcing in driving Sourcing’s vision to be the Most Agile, Most Competitive, Most Digitalized & Cleanest Supply Base in the industry. Drive achievement of quality and production goals in supply partners’ facilities while supporting other functions to reach adidas’ goals in areas such as production availability, manufacturing efficiency (ME) targets, Social & Environmental Affairs (SEA).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead a production team in one or more large-scale and/or geographically dispersed factories to manage all production-related topics including quality, production availability, Manufacturing Excellence, Social & Environmental Affairs (SEA), and adidas-related standards implementation.
Build strong relationships with senior teams in factories to reach the highest levels of performance possible.
Give input to provide directives in production and related supply chain area(s) and setting proper focus on operational direction.
Provide onsite technical support to enable decisions on escalations raised by Tier1 & POPs
Ensure Tier1s achieve goals while following the standards and directives from HQ and external parties.
Validate and confirm Tier1 capacity offers and follow up on availability performance when constraints exist.
Influence factory teams and drive the right quality mindset in the designated factories.
Develop and coach team members to ensure the best standards of performance, appropriate skill sets, and strong succession plans are in place.
Role model leadership to foster a culture of Diversity Equity & Inclusion that strives for an inclusive workplace.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Have proven depth and breadth of experience in production and quality areas.
Strong Project Management capabilities as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong influencing, people, presentation, and written/spoken communication skills.
Proven ability to lead teams across various business units and/or functions.
Strong MS Office Skills
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE •
University degree in engineering or related areas.
Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in one other function outside Manufacturing.
