Position Overview This position is for a Maternal and Child Health Registered Nurse assigned to the Post Partum/Mother Baby Unit at Woodhull Medical Center. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns, utilizing strong clinical judgment and effective communication while collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Requirements Licensure
Active New York State RN License - Required
Primary Source Verification of RN License from NYSED - Required
Experience
Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child Health experience - Required
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and Phlebotomy experience - Required
Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience - Required
Certifications
BLS (AHA) - Required
ACLS (AHA) - Required (except Bellevue)
NRP Certification - Required
