Role Summary We’re seeking a skilled RN to provide IV administration and clinical support for clinical trial participants on an as-needed basis across our Detroit-area research sites. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling while allowing you to use your nursing skills in an innovative clinical research environment where patients gain access to cutting edge therapies.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate (range provided upon application)

Schedule:

Flexible, as-needed basis with advance notice

Minimum Commitment:

Availability for at least 2 shifts per week preferred

What You’ll Do Primary Clinical Responsibilities

Administer IV infusions to study participants following established protocols

Obtain vital signs, perform EKGs, and conduct blood draws

Complete clinical assessments per study requirements

Process and ship laboratory specimens according to protocol specifications

Monitor participants for adverse events and document appropriately

Research Support Activities

Maintain accurate source documentation for all patient encounters

Ensure protocol compliance during all study visits

Coordinate with study coordinators on participant scheduling and follow-up

Assist with regulatory document collection as needed

Communicate professionally with sponsors, CROs, and study teams

Requirements Essential Qualifications

Active RN or LPN license in Michigan

Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience

Proficiency in IV administration, phlebotomy, and EKG performance

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Ability to work independently across multiple site locations

Preferred Qualifications

Previous clinical research experience

Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification

Experience with electronic data capture systems

Familiarity with FDA regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines

Upon Hire

Completed GCP certification (if not already certified)

Complete IATA certification for specimen shipping

Complete Profound Research training requirements

Physical Requirements & Travel

Travel between Detroit-area sites (less than 20% travel)

Ability to stand/walk during patient visits

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Close visual acuity for documentation and computer work

Prolonged periods of sitting for documentation and data entry
