Description Lincolnshire Prairie View School District 103 seeks an enthusiastic and experienced individual to fill position for Speech and Language Pathologist working with students in Grades 3-5.
Job Responsibilities
Report to Director of Student Services and building Principal.
Work as a member of a multi-disciplinary special education team.
Provide therapeutic services to speech-language impaired students and itinerant services to private school students with an Individual Service Plan (ISP).
Complete screenings and thorough assessments of language, articulation, voice and fluency disorders, and write reports to accompany evaluations.
Consult and collaborate with parents, administrators, teachers, and other service providers to monitor student progress and develop appropriate programs and interventions for students with speech-language needs.
Follow special education procedures, which include but is not limited to, participating in team and IEP meetings, writing and implementing IEPs, monitoring progress, and goal reporting.
Collaboratively plan and participate in a school improvement program.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology
Speech-Language Impaired endorsement required
Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
Experience with autism preferred
Ability to provide therapy and diagnostics for students with language disabilities, articulation deficits, dysfluency, and voice disorders
