DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

Knowledge of laser cutting and press brake operations.

Identify and resolve design-for-manufacturability issues.

Perform root cause analysis for DFM problems.

Contribute to NPI and product discussions with inputs.

Detect process waste and propose improvements.

Communicate effectively in English (written and verbal).

Conduct tolerance stack-up analysis when needed.

Interpret CMM reports for quality checks.

Basic experience with 3D modeling software.

Collaborate with suppliers to meet standards.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree/associate degree in Mechanical or Industrial engineering

3+ years of manufacturing engineer experience.

The pay range for this role is:

70,000 - 85,000 USD per year (Pontiac, IL)
