Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Product Design & Technical Strategy
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, architecture, product management, and business stakeholders to understand end‑to‑end requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.
Communicate complex technical concepts in a concise, accessible way to ensure alignment across technical and non‑technical partners.
Evaluate solution feasibility, usability, and long‑term viability to ensure product designs meet user needs and organizational goals.
Contribute to defining technical scope through research, requirements analysis, and process definition.
2. Product Development & Quality Assurance
Develop high‑quality, scalable, and maintainable code for complex features and systems, ensuring adherence to development standards.
Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to elevate team capability and code quality.
Identify and escalates technical risks or challenges proactively, offering well‑reasoned recommendations and solution options.
Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including regression and functional testing, working with the team to expand automated test coverage.
Validate the quality and stability of all changes prior to production deployment and assist in performance/load testing efforts.
3. Product Delivery & Operational Support
Implement monitoring and alerting strategies to detect anomalies, ensure system reliability, and support proactive issue identification.
Triage and find resolution of production issues, balancing immediate mitigation with long‑term corrective actions.
Qualifications:
5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong analytical and problem ‑ solving abilities.
Proficient in C# and ASP.NET (Core or Framework), with a solid understanding of modern application development practices.
Hands ‑ on experience with Node.js within a service ‑ oriented or microservices architecture.
Working knowledge of C# or Java, event ‑ based messaging, and SQL (queries, stored procedures, and performance considerations).
Experience building services using SOA and/or RESTful architectures.
Experience using Agile collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Knowledge of the casino industry or customer rewards/loyalty programs is beneficial.
The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 USD, which is dependent on a several factors including relevant experience, geography, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses. This role includes paid Personal Time Off and paid company holidays.
