Responsibilities and Duties
- First assist in the operating room for general and robotic surgery cases
- Provide trauma care at a Level III trauma center
- Cover floor duties if present for an extended period
- Participate in weekend rounding and call nights as required
- Manage increased call shifts during the first week of April due to vacation schedules
Additional Information
- Must be board certified in General Surgery
- Active New York license required
- Recent Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Orthopedic experience is a plus
