divh2Automation Tester Position/h2pArtic Slope Technical Solutions Inc (ASTS) is seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our Remote Monitoring and Logging System (RMLS) team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Egg Harbor Township, NJ for this on-site position. RMLS is the FAAs logging system for recording maintenance work performed on facilities in the National Airspace System (NAS). We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to work independently, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in test automation of web-based and mobile applications; API and performance testing experience is a plus!/ppThis individual requires:/pulliTo provide expertise in software requirements analysis, design, design reviews, development, software testing, integration, installation, and/or maintenance of complex computer systems./liliExperience with software programming in the languages used for the NAS and NAS supported systems, such as C, C++, JAVA, SQL, and Assembly./li/ulpCitizenship/Permanent Residency Requirement: All candidates must have the following to pass the Federal Background Investigation and obtain the FAA Public Trust security clearance./pulliBe a US Citizen, have a US Green Card, or a Non-immigrant Work Authorization (VISA)./liliHas resided in the US for three (3) consecutive years./liliThe company is unable to sponsor candidates at this time./li/ulpRelocation Requirement: Candidate must reside or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance to Egg Harbor Township, NJ./ppEducation Requirement: All NON-US Degrees must have a US Equivalency Certificate provided by the candidate./pulliBachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelors degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and seven (7) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field./liliOR Masters Degree in any field of study with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and five (5) years related work experience in a computer science or math field./li/ulpRequired Skills:/pulliProficient/Experienced in:/liulliC#/liliHTML/liliCSS/liliJavaScript/liliBuild and maintain robust, scalable test automation frameworks./liliDesign, develop, and execute automated test scripts./liliTest automation, specifically for web application testing, and best practices./liliDatabase development in Oracle/SQL./liliAutomation testing using Selenium and/or Playwright./liliWriting/maintaining automated test documentation, using NUnit, XUnit, and/or MSTest./liliCross-browser behavior and responsive testing./liliHave strong attention to details./li/ulliAbility to:/liulliWork independently, as well as on a team./liliTroubleshoot and isolate defects within a complex software system./liliCommunicate effectively through verbal and written communication./li/ul/ulpPreferred Skills:/pulliPrior FAA test experience./liliExperience in: Test Management Tools, such as JIRA or Zephyr./liliAPI Testing using Postman, RestSharp, or Swagger./liliKnowledge/Familiar with: Performance Testing using JMeter./liliSecurity and accessibility testing practices./liliDevOps and Continue Integration/Continuous Delivery or Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for continuous testing and validation using Jenkins./liliBehavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework for automation testing on.NET applications, such as Specflow or Gherkin./liliWorking on Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban), using JIRA or similar defect/bug tracking tools./li/ulpEssential Daily Job Duties:/pulliProvide 2nd Level Engineering support for RMLS./liliMaintain and enhance existing automation frameworks and scripts./liliCollaborate with developers, QA Analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage./liliIdentify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing./liliPerform functional, integration, regression, and system testing to ensure software reliability, security, and performance in real-time environments./liliParticipate in Agile/Scrum meetings to provide test updates and metrics./liliAssist with manual testing as needed./liliAssist with RMLS troubleshooting and Help Desk Support./li/ulpWork Environment:/pulliFull-time position with a standard flexible work schedule and occasional non-standard work hours./liliOccasional travel (less than 5%)./liliCubicle environment./li/ulpThe salary offered will depend on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity, business needs, and other factors permitted by law.
